Family!!

This week was awesome, Ian got baptized and we walked around in the snow.. I mean can life get better?  Wait yeah it can,  I had my departing interview with President Wilson on Sunday (because he wasn't going to have time on the Tuesday night before I leave).  It was incredible, I freaking love President Wilson.  I feel so much better about life.  ALSO!!  I asked President Wilson if I could go back to VCU and proselyte one more time before I go home, and he was more than down!! So on the Tuesday right after transfers I will spend on VCU with the Chippenham Elders and then I'll go to the mission home and join everybody else after that.  I am so excited.  It really is the perfect way to end my mission. Good stuff, the Lord is so merciful and kind.  He knows each one of us personally.  I am so excited, this next week is going to be incredible.
Ian Craddock's baptism                                                                            and yeah... it snowed a lot.

FAMILY!!!!

Wow, there is so much going on.  This week was so quick.. every week is just super quick now.  I don't really even know where to start.. hmmmm SO!  I don't know if you remember me ever talking about the Shelton family, but they are a member family down In colonial heights, my first area.  They played such a crucial role in helping me overcome my homesickness, they were my first "family" away from home and I love them!!  I haven't seen them in like, well... about two years.  and this week on Saturday then drove all the way up from colonial heights to Woodbridge which is like 2 hours and they took me out to dinner.  It was so great to be able to see them again!!  I'll attach a pic of that for ya.

Thank you so much for praying for all of our investigators!!  Especially for Cristina and Raniah!!!  We had such a cool miracle with them.  They came to church yesterday, and the ward pulled in clutch,  5 star performance... it was truly incredible and because the ward did such an amazing job, Cristina and Raniah were able to have an incredible spiritual experience.  After church we were talking to them both about how they liked church. Raniah (who is 8) explained to us how she had made so many new friends and that she loved primary and she wants to come back every Sunday.  It was so great to see how excited she was about the gospel.  We asked Cristina how she liked it and she expressed the same excitement and told us about how she had received a confirmation from the spirit during relief society that this was God's true church on the earth!!!  It was incredible to hear!!  She is so prepared!!  They are going to be baptized on the 22nd of February,  What a great way to close out my mission. Again thank you for all of your prayers for them.

I'm so excited for these next two weeks.  So many incredible things are going to happen.  I hope y'all have a great next two weeks as well..  I love you all so much!!!

Family!! So good to hear from you all!!  This week was incredible, It wasn't super cold, we got fed every night (which is pretty normal but still awesome)  we found new investigators and people that need to be baptized on the 14th of Feb.and then at the end of the week we had 2 baptisms!!!  It was  sicckkk hahaha Mom I have always had that slang in my vocabulary, it just stands out more when I'm a missionary.

The things I'm most excited about:
We are teaching a kid named Ian Craddock, his entire family got baptized while he was studying abroad in London.  He's been back for about 3 months now and has basically come to church every Sunday.  He is seriously the most prepared investigator that I've eve taught, he'll be baptized before I leave on the 14th.

We are teaching this lady named Ana Lovo and her daughter Mikayla, when I first started teaching he like a month or two ago she was super hesitant.  We started to give her some homework assignments and got her to start reading the Book of Mormon and she has changed so much!!  It has been so cool to see the spirit change Ana's heart and now her daughter is really interested as well!! They are Progressing towards baptism probably sometime in late February/early March.

On the 19th all of the departing missionaries get to go to the D.C. Temple and do a session with President and Sister Wilson.  I haven't been to the temple in 2 years.. I'm SUPER PUMPED

We are also teaching this lady name Cristina and her 8 year old daughter Rhania they are incredibly prepared and Rhania absolutley LOVES when we come over.  They will for sure get baptized hopefully that can happen while I'm still here

There is so much to do. and now that it's February it's getting too easy to calculate how many days I have left, but if anything it just makes me work even harder knowing that this is it.  This is my last stand, my last chance to testify to anyone and everyone as a set apart representative of Jesus Christ, but my face is set and my pace is fast, because "The best pace is a suicide pace, and today is a great day to die."
